Use the Nous network, the in-character network that your Tessera connects you to.
Everything on the network is in character. Your character thinks the
message; they do not type it, so leave out emoticons. For out-of-character
questions, use xgame. See help channels.
alias

alias <handle>
Show or claim your network handle. Handles are 2-10 characters: letters,
numbers, hyphens, or underscores, unique ignoring case, and changeable once
an hour. You need an installed Tessera, not a handset.
who
who [<filter>]
List active network handles. A filter narrows the list.
A long roster pages; @whopager turns paging off.
sm
sm <message>
Send a message to the public network.
Example: sm Anyone selling a used handset?
ntag
ntag <text>
ntag/clear
Set or clear the tag shown with your network handle.
hail
hail <message>
Send an in-character inquiry to the network authority.
mute
mute
Stop receiving public network messages.
unmute
unmute
Resume public network messages.
ignore
ignore <handle>
Block messages from one handle.
unignore
unignore <handle>
Restore messages from one handle.
