open the terminal
use <business terminal>
You must be beside the terminal. It shows only the sections your ownership or employment permits you to use.
offers of work
An owner or permitted manager can offer work to a character who is present. That character reads the offer and accepts or declines it at the same terminal.
staff and wages
The Staff section lists current staff, their role, and their weekly wage. Permitted owners and managers can offer work, end an employment, and set a wage there.
Each wage has a weekly cap. Paid visits by outside patrons add support to payroll. Proprietors can also set business funds aside for payroll.
my record
My Record shows your role, your authority, and your wage. New staff wait three days for a first wage. After that, a wage becomes due every seven days.
Collect the oldest due wage from My Record. If payroll is short, the wage remains on the books. You can return to the premises terminal and collect it later, including after your employment ends.
money
The Money section shows business funds, payroll on hand, patronage support, unpaid wages, and recent entries. A permitted proprietor or partner can collect business funds or set some aside for payroll.
trade and records
A permitted owner can open or close the premises for trade from the main screen. Records shows proprietors, partners, tenancy, any deposit, and recent material changes to the premises.
A frozen tenancy closes business access and services until staff resolve it. A business eye-reader opens an ordinary physical door: while it stands open, others can follow through, and the handle on the inside remains usable even during a freeze.
