Tracking

In the game: help tracking Also track tracks trail trails footprints prints drag marks wheel tracks skid marks

Read the marks that people, wounds, loads, and vehicles leave on open ground, and follow a trail.

track

track

Study the ground you stand on. It takes a few seconds. Moving or a fight stops it.

Example: track

You crouch and study the ground.
One trail crosses here.
1. Boot prints of one person, coming from the south and heading north. Fresh.

Only open ground keeps marks. A road keeps no print and no wheel track. Anyone can
see blood, a drag mark, skid marks, and a spill. How much more you learn depends on
your Tracking skill.

track <number>

track <number>

Look closer at one numbered trail from your last read here, and fix it in your
mind to follow.

track follow

track follow

Take one step along the trail you fixed. It stops at a fork, where the marks give
out or end, and when something is near. Use it again to go on.
