repair

Repair one part. You need a tool belt. A repair to a vehicle also needs a garage, or a workshop van parked beside you, and a spare in your belt. Without them you can only bodge the part together to hold, and a bodged part wants replacing. With no part named, you work on the part that needs it most.

maintain

maintain <part> on <vehicle>
maintain <vehicle>

Service a part in a garage, so it wears slowly again and its faults clear if a service can clear them. With no part named, you service the part furthest past its service.

setup

setup <vehicle>
setup <thing> <setting> on <vehicle>

See what can be set up on a vehicle, or set one up in a garage. Every setting gains one thing and costs another.

swap

swap <part> into <vehicle>

Fit a spare part you are holding, and keep the part it replaces. A heavy part needs a garage with a hoist. You can look at a spare to see what it is and what it fits.

unbolt

unbolt <part> from <vehicle>

Take a part off a wrecked vehicle, or the autopilot unit out of one that runs. A part from a wreck comes off worse than it was.

overhaul

overhaul <part> on <vehicle>

Rebuild a part to as good as new in a garage. It uses up a rebuild kit.

reseat

reseat <vehicle>

Put a thrown track back on its rollers. You can do it anywhere, and it needs no spare part. A poor job leaves the track slack.

diagnose

diagnose <vehicle>

Read every part of a vehicle off a diagnostic reader you carry.

parts <part> for <vehicle>

See what is fitted to a vehicle, or what a part of it can be fitted with and what each costs.

refill

refill [<belt>] [with <box>]

Fill the pouches of your tool belt from boxes of spare parts you carry. With no box named, it uses every box you have.
