In the game: help artisan design Also jeweler perfumer
Edit unfinished jewelry and perfume.
jeweler
jeweler [<piece>]
Open the designer for an unfinished piece of jewelry or a piercing. With no piece named, it opens the only one you carry, or lets you pick. Name a finished piece to read back how it was made.
A piece needs a name, a description, a worn description and a place. A piercing needs a name, a description and a worn description, and its place is optional. For a piercing, the description is the piece on its own, and the worn description is how it looks once it is in.
jeweler one line
jeweler <piece> <field> <value>
jeweler <piece> finalize
Set one field without the menu. The fields are name, keywords, desc, worn, slot, engrave, puton and takeoff. A piercing has no engrave, puton or takeoff. Finalize finishes the piece, and its name and description are fixed after that.
The worn description may use $p for the wearer's possessive. See help tokens.
jeweler slot
jeweler <piece> slot <places>
Say where the piece is worn, in the words you would use: neck, left hand, lhand, ears.
Put or between places for a piece you choose a place for when you put it on. Put both or and for a pair worn together.
Example: jeweler bangle slot left hand or right hand
For a piercing, say where it may go through. Leave it out, or type slot any, and it fits any piercing.
The maker can change where a finished piece is worn with the same command.
perfumer
perfumer [<bottle>]
perfumer <bottle> <field> <value>

perfumer <bottle> finalize finishes the bottle. Its name and description are fixed after that.
