inventory
inventory
Show your carried and held items. Aliases: inv and i.
wear
wear <clothing/armor>
wear <jewelry> on <place>
Put on carried clothing or armor. A piece of jewelry made for more than one place goes where you name, or else where there is most room. Alias: don.
A stud, ring or bar made for a piercing goes into a piercing you have with nothing in it. Name the place if you have more than one. See help body modifications.
A pack goes on the back, at the hip or across the shoulder. You can wear one pack in each place.
remove
remove <clothing/armor>
remove <item> from <place>
Take off worn clothing or armor. Name a place to pick one of several pieces that look alike. A piece in a piercing slides out and the piercing stays. Alias: doff.
jewelry
jewelry
List the jewelry you wear, by place, and the jewelry you carry. Alias: jewellery.
toggle
toggle <garment>
Change a two-state garment. Alias: adjust.
strip
strip <item> from <target>
Remove worn gear from a subdued, dead, or trusting character, or from a
severed head or limb.
dress
dress <person> in <item>
dress <item> on <person>
Put a carried garment on someone who trusts you to, or who cannot say no.
See help trust.
wield
wield <weapon>
Move a carried weapon into your hand. Alias: hold.
unwield
unwield [<weapon>]
Move a held weapon into your inventory. Alias: stash.
draw
draw from <cistern>
Work a cistern pump in the room.
holsters and sheaths
A holster, sheath or sling is a container that you wear for weapons. Put a weapon in it with put. Take the weapon out with get or take. In a fight, taking a weapon out costs your next attack.
A garment hides a holster only if the garment is long enough to cover the weapon in it. A jacket hides a pistol or a knife. A sword or a rifle needs a long coat.
packs
A pack, bag or pouch is a container that you wear. Put items in it with put. Take items out with get or take.
Your inventory lists the pack, not what is in it. Use look in <pack> to see inside.
A pack takes items only while you wear it. An item must be short enough for the pack, and the pack must have room. A worn pack makes its contents a little easier to carry.
A pack always shows when you wear it. Clothing and armor do not hide it.
A thief can steal items from your pack. Anyone who frisks you finds everything in it.
A tailor makes packs. See help tailoring.
freehands
freehands
Put all held objects into your inventory. Alias: fh.
frisk
frisk <character>
Search a compliant or subdued character's carried gear. Alias: patdown.
junk
junk <item>
Junk an object that you no longer use. It must be in your inventory and not
worn, and containers must be empty. Clothing, things you made, materials,
paper, photographs, cassettes, playing cards and dice can go. Type yes
at the prompt to confirm.
For guns, see help firearms and help firearm modifications.
For clothing, see help tailoring.
