Three at Once
Vesalius has run Mythos, with its bioengineering, splicing, cyberware, and medicine, for as long as the guild has existed. They rule through a strange arrangement: three living incarnations of the same genestock at once. A child is tutored into the seat, an adult holds the seat, and an elder advises it. When the elder dies, the cycle moves up by one.
Manner
Members of House Vesalius tend to be ancient, though many do not look it. They are bioengineered to be gorgeous, and they are unfailingly polite. They are also composed and cold in a clinical way. They care about people as specimens, or for how useful they might be to the House, not for who they are. Vesalius do not fear age, pain, or death. In their eyes, they have conquered all three.
The ruling family has a striking look: extremely pale skin and platinum blond hair. They avoid splicing in obviously animal traits, though some offshoots outside the ruling line embrace them.
The Gallery
Everyone in the city knows about the infamous Vesalius gallery: preserved human bodies, flayed and split open, curated from the House's old enemies. It is not the same thing as the famous Mythos zoo, but it is clear where the zoo got the idea.
